The fazaail-e-Aamaal, of Hadhrat Sheikhul Hadeeth, Moulana Muhammad Zakariyya Kaandelwi (RA), is among the most famous and well-read Islamic books in the world. The booklet in your hands is an abridged, simplified version of the original kitaab. The purpose of simplifying this book was mainly to target the younger children making it easier for them to understand and comprehend the Mubarak Ahadith of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam). By reading out the Fazaail to the children will be a means of encouraging them to engage in A'amaale saliha.
This book is divided into 7 parts, viz.
- Stories of Sahaabah, Virtues of Salaah,
- Virtues of reciting the Qur-aan,
- Virtues of zikr,
- Virtues of Durood Shareef,
- Virtues of Ramdhaan and
- Virtues of tableegh.
A part of each section should be read out and explained daily to the children.
